General Information:

Caswell Drive connects Gungahlin Drive to Glenloch Interchange. it's 2 lanes in each direction, in a dual carriageway configuration.

The road is named after Charles Henry Caswell, who was an engineer and surveyor, and co-designer of an award-winning plan in the competition for a design for the National Capital held in 1911. ¹

8 February 1968: Gazettal of road name. ¹

3 May 2006: Upgrade of the Glenloch Interchange commenced. ²

November 2007: Belconnen Way interchange opened to traffic. ³

2009: Completed the 1.35 kilometre south-bound duplication of the Caswell Drive section of the Gungahlin Drive Extension. ⁴
