General Information:
Located in the district of Weston Creek, Streeton Drive is named after Sir Arthur Ernest Streeton (1867-1943), who was one of Australia's most important landscape painters; a founder of the Heidelberg School and Official War Artist for the Australian Government. In 1918 he was first Australian artist to receive an honourable mention from the prestigious art exhibition of the French Académie des Beaux-Arts, the Paris Salon. 1
