General Information:
Located in the in the Southern Downs Region, Alternative State Route 89 was a rural route linking several small communities scattered west of the New England Highway northward towards the Cunningham Highway east of Inglewood. The route passes through tracts of state forest and bushland along with numerous farms and consisted of undivided sealed road with 1 lane in each direction.
History:
- 01 March 1980: Stanthorpe-Inglewood Rd became a state-controlled road. 2
- 16 October 2020: Stanthorpe-Inglewood Rd no long a state-controlled road. 2
