General Information:
Located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, State Route 12 primarily runs in an east-west direction, linking the Bruce Highway in Eumundi with the holiday town of Noosa.
The route is mostly undivided single carriageway road and passes through semi-rural areas as well as commercial and residential.
History:
- May 2015: Work started on resurfacing and drainage upgrades and the construction of a turn lane at the Beddington Rd intersection at Doonan. 2

Distance sign at Doonan after the junction with Emu Mountain Rd, March 2006. Note the incorrect SR51 shield. SR51 was to be signed from Eumundi to Noosaville and did appear on some signs but was abandoned in favour of SR12 before it was fully signed. 3 The 33rd edition of the Brisbane UBD from 1989 also shows SR51 on Eumundi Rd at Noosaville. This sign has since been replaced.
