General Information:

B84 is a rural route linking Port Wakefield Highway and coastal regions to several towns scattered through South Australia's Lower Mid North.

The route services residential, light industrial, commercial and rural properties.

Multiplexes along the route include:
A32, for 750 m, Saddleworth.
B82, for 200 m, Auburn.

History:

February 2019: Safety re-surfacing works, approximately 5 km East of Balaklava, for 4.5 km. 2
March 2019: Works to upgrade Skillies Bridge on Balaklava Road commenced, which included replacing the existing bridge with wider structures and installation of new guard rails and bridge barriers. 3
October 2022: The realigned Balaklava Road intersection with Port Wakefield Highway, opened to traffic as part of the Port Wakefield Overpass and Highway Duplication project. 4
06 February 2023: Work commenced on replacing the culvert over Light River on Marrabel Road with a wider structure and upgrading the junction of Marrabel Road with Curio Road. 5
