Humpty Doo is a small town not far from Darwin, the capital city of the Northern Territory.

The town is a popular stopover location for visitors travelling between Darwin and the Kakadu National Park. The main industries are agriculture and tourism, however, most residents commute to Darwin or Palmerston for work. The locality of Humpty Doo is named after the station originally called "Umpity Doo".

The area is well known for the production of mangoes and honey, but has seen a number of crops come and go since it was established. There is also a Royal Australian Navy transmitting station in the area.

Big Boxing Crocodile:

The Big Boxing Crocodile fibreglass sculpture, located at the United service station (formerly the Bush Shop) at Humpty Doo, 2003. Standing at 13 metres high and built in 1987, the structure was inspired by the "Boxing Kangaroo" logo used in Australia's successful 1983 bid for the America's Cup. ²
